Trecut, Prezent si Viitor

Drumul Becasului / ulei pe panza / 75 x 75 cm / 1997 Oarecum s-au strans din ultimul timp cateva idei sau mai bine spus stari emotionale care se incheaga acum intr-un tot … incep printr-o scurta plimbare dupa niste butasi de trandafiri la o mica “ferma” extraordinara din Becas a unui cultivator pasionat. Pentru cine nu stie, Becasul este o zona aflata situata chiar langa Cluj, intre strada Buna Ziua si Calea Turzii. Mergand cu masina unui prieten bun, interesat si el de trandafiri, am intrat pe Mihai Romanul, o strada reper nou aparuta pe harta dezvoltatorilor imobil iari, chiar daca fiinta inca de zeci de ani, umblata fiind pe atunci doar de localnici si de turistii clujeni de weekend. De mic copil bateam toata zona, fiind practic primul loc “explorat” temeinic de aventurierul din mine impreuna cu prieteni ai copilariei, sau in “bande” de indieni ori “cowboy” din Andrei Muresanu si Gheorgheni. My personal look into the post-revolutionary Romanian Art Scene

I do not refer to the material deprivations, but most of all to the spiritual and cultural ones. It was an ignorance of contemporaneousness, of information, of everything that happens in the free world. There is much to discuss about this subject and maybe it is well-known what the communist propaganda and politics meant, but...
